BACK TO SCHOOL

BACK TO SCHOOL After a hot summer vacation, our school children are back to their academic routine from today i.e. 13th June, 2014. To receive the KG kids, two senior students donned the get up of Santa Claus and Mickey Mouse and cheered the cry babies by offering toffees. The KG Staff were assisted by Girl volunteers. As usual the school started with the morning assembly comprising of Vandemataram, sloka, prayer, pledge, news, public speech on “Right to Information Act” and National Anthem. A novel thing this year was the rendering of Telangana Anthem “Jaya Jayahe Telangana” by the choir group. The whole WPS Assembly ground reverberated with the slogan “JAI TELANGANA”. The Vice-Principal Mrs Jyothi Naidu welcomed the students to the academic session 2014-15 and the Principal Mrs Uma Rani congratulated the students and all the teachers especially the Class X teachers, for the ALL TIME BEST RESULT OF 100% Distinctions in the CBSE CLASS X BOARD EXAMS conducted in March 2014.
