WPSians .... WE MISS YOU....

CLASS OF 1992
I felt I should post all the Class photos that I could lay my hands on. We have photos beginning with Class of 1992 (the first batch of class X that I taught). I am not sure if the earlier three batches took photos or not. I hope all the WPSians cherish them. I know they are not very clear. But, that is the best I could manage. Want to have a look at them ? sans 1993 (no photo available), sans 2005 (I need to get it scanned). Will post it later.......... GO AHEAD AND VISIT MY OTHER BLOG http://www.wpsschool.blogspot.com/

FAREWELL

All through my 23 years of service at WPS, I have seen hundreds of students being bade goodbye by the class IX students and the school, only to enter into a new world. March 1st was one such day and it was no different from the earlier years. The outgoing class X was given a warm farewell. I wish every student of the 2010 batch the very best and hope that they bring laurels to school like their seniors did and make us all PROUD.

SENIOR ANNUAL DAY 15TH FEB 2010

Presenting an English Play on the School Annual Day has always been my passion. We wanted to try something different this time. Thus came up the idea of staging the most challenging play of my career i.e., 'THE MERCHANT OF VENICE' by 'Shakespeare'. With the limited choice of students at hand, I was at first apprehensive about the outcome. But I must confess, that it turned out to be a stupendous success and acclaimed by one and all present. This turned out to be the best English Play that was ever put up on WPS stage (Director's words). I owe this success to the support that I received from Mrs Madhuvanthi, English Faculty.

EDUCATIONAL FAIR BY UKG

A unique Educational fair was organised by the UKG children . It was a feast to the eyes to watch the little ones explain about their exhibits to the visitors. I hope the seniors will take inspiration from them and do better during the next exhibition.
The tiny tots have proved that WARANGAL PUBLIC SCHOOL is indeed a school with a difference. WELL DONE!!! KEEP IT UP!!!

holi celebrations in school

It has been our tradition to celebrate festivals of all religions in school, a day before the actual festival. We strongly believe that this teaches the little ones religious tolerance apart from respecting other religions. The tiny tots look forward to the celebration and enjoy every bit of it by taking part in it. They are also given a small gift and some snacks to make the celebration complete. They treasure these gifts and display them with pride. Festival of colours HOLI was celebrated on 26th Feb and the little ones and their teachers had a terrific time.
