ENGLISH LANGUAGE LAB
In all these 23 years of my service at WPS, one thing I feel guilty about is not being able to force everyone to speak in English atleast while at school. With the weaning reading habits among the present day students, there is an urgent need to practice speaking in English to improve their communicative skills. Thus arose the need to set up an English language lab in school. It helps students to improve their listening, reading, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, etc. I hope this lab will go a long way in helping the students score better marks not just in English but other subjects as well and also improve their communicative skills very essential for one's career. The lab is being set up and would be ready for use in the second term.

Great maam,even we feel the same now when we think of teachers asking us to speak in English when we were at school.
It's a great initiative not just for getting marks but also for the student's career.
I totally agree with you Ma'am. This lab sure should help the students in more ways than one.
I got to know of this blog through my friends (ex W.P.S. students). Great work there.
There should be a facebook page and twitter account as well. I don't know if its already there.
On the day of our farewell, one of the guests speaking had complained that WPS students were not sophisticated enough. I hope the lab and this blog among other things should help them become so.
